Raising a child with disabilities or special needs comes with its struggles. For one thing, it can sometimes be a bit harder to give your child the fun-loving youth that you know they deserve.
Children confined to wheelchairs and children with other special needs go through different struggles from each other, but they do share some similar adversity. They also conquer similar mountains together.
This water park, Morgan's Wonderland, in San Antonio, Texas, gives these children the opportunity to experience a family fun park with no limitations. The park isn't just for kids, though! Anyone can come and play in this inclusive, ultra-accessible park.
In the opening ceremony, founder Mr. Hartman started his speech with, "those who have special needs and those who don't have special needs [will] come together."
If that isn't a wonderful outlook to have on life, then I don't know what is. The children and families that visit the park have so much fun. It's evident in the photos!
