In theory, clothes shopping is a lot of fun.
But in reality, trying clothes on and finding things that you like on your body can be exhausting and disheartening.
Lots of us struggle with body image issues, and shopping can only make those issues harder to deal with, especially when things don't fit the way you want them to.
One of the most frustrating fitting room moments is when something that totally should fit you totally doesn't.
Even if you're positive you haven't gained or lost any weight, it can still be hard to comprehend why things in your size don't fit how they should.
Clothing sizes can vary from store to store, but one blogger from South Africa is sharing her experience to show that clothing sizes can change even within the same store — especially when it comes to jeans.
Keep scrolling to see the shocking discovery she made.

Mira is a South African blogger and body positivity activist. She says she's "all about spreading love and inspiring people."
According to Daily Mail, Mira was out shopping for jeans when she discovered something she didn't expect.
Mira took two pairs of jeans that were the same size into the fitting room. But when she tried them on, only one pair fit. She couldn't even pull the other pair up all the way.
"The maroon pair had a label saying 'New Fit' and the mint pair had nothing. Both were my size yet one pair couldn't even close and the other pair was a little loose?" Mira wrote on Instagram. "I used to absolutely DREAD shopping because of this reason alone!"
It seems like the difference had something to do with the "new fit," but it definitely goes to show how little clothing sizes actually mean. This isn't an isolated incident — clothing sizes vary and change all the time.
Mira's experience is a great reminder that there's a lot more to health than your jeans size. Seeing as there is no standard sizing, it doesn't seem like a very good way to measure your health or well-being.
I know going into a fitting room can be really intimidating, but I'll try to remember Mira's words if I ever find myself upset about how something fits again.
This is definitely something to keep in mind next time you go shopping. Please SHARE this story on Facebook with your friends and family!
