Teen Tries To Sell A Lamp On Tinder And Gets So Many Responses That It Crashes Her Phone

Aline is an 18-year-old student at Oswego University in New York. Like many young people her age, she's used the app Tinder to try and find dates.

After recently getting into a relationship, the student deleted her account but then revived it for fun with her cousin, Ariana.

Aline wanted to see if she could actually sell an item on the app instead of trying to find a date. Her cousin offered up a lamp in her room. Aline made the lamp a profile, which was complete with a photo, bio, and age.

The student was surprised to see that she received replies from people. Many were, of course, entertained by the lamp and joked around with her. But a few actually offered to purchase it. One guy even said he'd give her $125 — but it never worked out.

Aline posted the hilarious Tinder conversations on her Twitter on December 10, 2017, and has since accumulated thousands of likes.

If you're unfamiliar with Tinder, it's first and foremost a dating app. This guy clearly didn't read the profile and sent a copy and paste sort of reply to her.

Aline received quite a few inquiries about the lamp. This fellow told her he'd pay her more than what she was asking.

It didn't take long for random people to start attempting their best puns after seeing her tweet.

Many people related Aline's lamp to the famous line in the cult movie Anchorman.

One Twitter user couldn't believe a lamp had received more messages than they did using the app.
