Pink Forgot To Move Elf On The Shelf For 3 Days Before Finding Daughter’s Alarmed Note To Santa

With the holidays creeping up, it can get hectic for any parent to remember every single thing that needs to be done.

Adding to that growing list is the infamous Elf on the Shelf. Millions of families have welcomed the North Pole elf into their homes to watch over their kids. But one big part of this "game" is that the elf needs to be moved every single day — which is easily forgettable!

If you think you're the only parent who has ever forgotten to move the elf, don't worry, you're not alone. As it turns out, even superstars like Pink forget to move the elf!

On December 22, 2017, Pink used her Instagram to post a hilarious note her 6-year-old daughter Willow wrote to Santa about their elf. The mom of two completely forgot to move him for three days and Willow was alarmed.

Her two kids, Willow and Jameson, are equally excited for Santa.

The family partakes in the tradition of getting an Elf on the Shelf to watch over the kids for Santa.

Pink and her hubby Carey are both busy parents who sometimes forget to move their elf around.

Well, Willow noticed that their elf hadn't moved in three days and she was starting to worry.

Pink shared the alarming note Willow wrote to Santa about their elf.

The note read: “Santa, I am worried about Chippy, he has been in the same spot for 3 days. I don’t know why.”

THANKYOU for the love. Sincerely

Pink captioned the photo saying it was a "mom fail" but hundreds of other moms wrote that they've been in the same boat.

Many moms wrote "I feel your pain," while others had no issue saying how much they hate the Elf on the Shelf despite doing it to make their kids happy.

Other parents gave Pink a few tips on how to play it off so that Willow doesn't stop believing in the magic.

"Write her a reply from Santa that something naughty must’ve happened & the only way he’s going to be able to move again is with a good deed. We had the same 'issue' with our elf & it worked like a charm! Best behavior ever for the week of Christmas," one user said.

Another suggested putting a bandage on his leg and saying he had a boo-boo.
