Staring at Gimo, the pitch-black Scottish fold kitten, you're instantly aware that something is very different about this tiny cat.
Before long, you realize it's his large, round, golden-colored eyes — so beautiful, they almost seem a bit hypnotic. In fact, this cat's eyes are so gorgeous, he's quickly becoming a viral sensation!
It's no secret that cats have beautiful eyes — this gorgeous white cat looks like he has an entire universe in his peepers! — but Gimo the Scottish fold cat may give them all a run for their money.
Gimo's perfected the art of getting exactly what he wants from his humans, and it all starts with round yellow eyes that seem to be the size of dinner plates.
The star of his own Instagram account, Gimo has over 132,000 followers just so they can see what it feels like to look into his eyes on a daily basis.

This is Gimo, he's a Scottish fold cat.
The Scottish fold is known for a natural gene mutation that causes the ears to "fold" towards the front of their head, which gives the cat what is often described as an "owl-like" appearance.
But if you ask me, Gimo's "owl-like" appearance has much more do to with his giant eyes!
Soon after moving into his new home, Gimo's did something that made his humans know they were in trouble.
The little kitty stood on his hind quarters, hid his front paws in his fluffy black coat, while gazing up at his owners will those big yellow eyes.
They immediately feel themselves going weak in the knees every time Gimo strikes his hypnotic pose… How could anyone resist giving him a treat?!
Even when Gimo is playing, those big eyes never miss any of the action. He looks just like a little prairie dog peeking up out of that hole!
The rest of Gimo's body is so dark, sometimes it feels like the eyes are all you can see.
When he's hungry or wants to be petted, there's nothing that can make Gimo break his gaze.
He would win all of the staring contests in my house for sure!
Like all cats, Gimo loves to sleep. And that's pretty much the only time those giant eyes are closed.
But even without the eyes, he's still pretty cute!
