For whatever reason there are a lot of people who put an unfair opinion on what motherhood means. While some people respect it as the beautiful thing it is, there are people out there who firmly believe that once you have a baby, you're thoughts, dreams, and goals in life fall to the side of the road, never to be thought about ever again.
While being a parent certainly means that sacrifices have to be made in order to ensure the child's well-being, having a baby certainly doesn't mean that your life is effectively over.
There are some parents who don't want to be anything other than a parent, and they rejoice in focusing solely on that as their main goal, and there are other parents who still wish to maintain a career or follow a personal passion.
No matter what choice is made, as long as the child is healthy and loved, neither type of parent is better orworse than the other!
In fact, the mother in the video below proves that "just because" she had a baby, that doesn't mean she has to "give up" on what she loves in life. In fact, she can bring her darling little daughter along for the ride and maybe she'll even turn out to share in that same passion as her mother does!
