Hungarian Baker Creates Incredibly Detailed Cookie Art

Whoever thinks baking isn't an art hasn't watched this video! It's one thing to create the perfect chocolate chip or gingerbread cookie. But it's another to put time and love into each one and turn it into a piece of art. And, no, we're not talking about the decorated cakes at your nearby Walmart. Although, those can be pretty delicious, too.

What we're talking about is Hungarian baker Mézesmanna and she's at it again with her beautiful embroidery-style cookies. What starts off as a plain gingerbread cookie soon turns into the most intricate design you've ever seen on a piece of food. Her Facebook shows off her full work, which includes animal portraits, art recreations, and cute cartoons.

However, our favorite is the embroidery designs as they seem to represent traditional Hungarian styles. Some of them recreate old fashioned cross-stitch patterns and doilies, while this video shows her creating colorful floral patterns. The final design is a burst of color (and flavor, hopefully) that will make you want to catch the next flight to the small city of Akja, Hungary. Or maybe just place a bulk order for these wonderful confections.
