Annabel and her sisters were climbing a tree one day, when disaster struck. Annabel fell 30 feet inside the massive hollow tree. Her sisters, mother, and father could not tell if the little girl was even alive. The only hope they had was that for a single instant, they saw her lift her tiny arm up, then down.
"I wanted more than anything to reach down and grab the little girl and bring her into my arms and it was physically impossible," her father Kevin said.
For four hours, volunteer firefighters tried to get her out. It was too dangerous to cut pieces off the rotten tree without the entire thing caving in on Annabel. When the little one came to, they created a makeshift harness. Annabel was free. Then something strange happened. Annabel was totally unharmed. No broken bones, no paralysis, no damage. Doctors had no explanation.
A 30-foot fall is very serious. That's when Annabel told her mom that she saw Jesus. Annabel believes she visited heaven where she sat on Jesus' lap and he told her, "When the firefighters get you out, there will be nothing wrong with you." That's when another unexplainable thing happened. Annabel had suffered from severe stomach issues her entire life. Her hospital room was like a second bedroom, but after the fall she had no symptoms. When doctors checked her out, they declared that she had been healed. Annabel believes Jesus brought her into that tree to save her not once, but twice.
Annabel's story has now inspired the movie Miracles From Heaven. Regardless of anyone's beliefs, I think we can all agree that it's mysterious and wonderful that Annabel is happy and healthy today!
