The relationship between a father and his little girl is always going to be so special. Everyone, of course, is going to show their love for each other in different ways, and no two relationships are exactly the same.
Some dads will show their love for their daughter by taking her out to fish in silence in the early hours of the morning. Some dads will give their daughters a daily history lesson to share their passion for learning. Some dads will make outright promises to their daughters that they'll always love them, while other dads make the same promise through the love they show every day.
When Lana was 13, her dad made a promise to always be there for his daughter. He gave her a ring to symbolize that promise, and she wore it for 13 more years. She'll always remember the words her father said to her that day long ago, and she'll continue to hold them near and dear to her heart.
That's why she wanted to interrupt her very own wedding ceremony — to let her father know just how much those very words meant to her. She took the microphone in her hand, and, holding back tears, started reading from a piece of paper she'd pored over in the weeks leading up to this moment.
