Man Films A Dandelion For A Whole Month To Show Its Mesmerizing Evolution

When I was still a little tot, my dad decided to finish up his wildlife biology degree. That meant our home was filled with tons of books describing all the different animals and plants we have on our planet, and I loved spending hours flipping through them just to look at the photos. It also meant seeing the occasional critter pop up in our garage from time to time. My mom might not have been thrilled about finding a glass case filled with snakes when she came home on Mother's Day one year, but my brother and I couldn't get enough of it!

Luckily for my mom, my dad eventually shifted his focus to a love of horticulture. Instead of creepy, slithery snakes, our backyard was filled with square-foot gardens and compost bins providing gorgeous flowers all year round. My mom had pretty great green thumb of her own, but he really took his gardening to heart.

Sadly, my allergies have prevented me from inheriting any of their floral skills, but I still appreciate their beauty from afar. That's why I love this amazing clip so much! While the dandelion might be the most ordinary bloom in the world, and technically considered a weed that some suburbs would rather see disappear forever, I have always loved them.

The mesmerizing timelapse took a full month to complete, but is edited to a concise 2 minutes. By the end, you might find yourself trying to blow on your screen and make a wish!
