One of the greatest things about dogs is when their wild instincts come through at the weirdest moments. Take what happens to Canaan every single time he gets a bone for example: He always tries to bury it – regardless of where he actually is. Inside or outside it doesn't matter!
Just watch Canaan in action after his Mom gives him a rawhide bone to enjoy. The first thing he does is run to the kitchen corner and start digging an imaginary hole in the linoleum floor! He even tries to cover it with his nose! I actually used to have a dog who would try to bury treats in the coach, so I know this funny routine well!
