Every animal has their own unique personality, and from what I can tell, most birds tend to skew toward the sassy side of the spectrum. Whether it's a parrot learning some crude vocabulary or knocking over anything that dare be in their way, it's always entertaining to see how they react to the world around them. Even when they're accepting an act of kindness from human strangers, like the hummingbirds who flock to the man holding out sweet treats in his red Solo cup, they definitely aren't afraid to let their true, hilarious colors show.
For Andrew and Jacqui Merrington of Cornwall, England, they are regularly treated to a silly show by a certain seagull that likes to make his way into their home. The couple doesn't mind the intrusion, affectionately referring to the cutie as Beakie and welcoming him indoors up to six times a day! It started last summer when he began knocking on their backdoor hoping to be let inside, but it wasn't until a recent bout of hot weather when they left the door open that he discovered the delicacy known as cat food. Something tells me their feline isn't too fond of sharing, but that doesn't stop Beakie on his pursuit!
The family, who has two daughters, describe him as their "unintentional pet" and captured his recent trek through their living room and kitchen to share Beakie's charisma with the rest of the world. They try not to encourage his actions, but the persistent fella has a way of getting exactly what he wants.
