From time to time, we'll encounter a child who seems to have been put on this Earth with an incredible destiny. These children might all be young, but something about them just seems otherworldly, and when you watch the 7-year-old girl in the video below, you'll see that she's a perfect example of an "old soul!"
These "old souls" are those very special children who just seem wise beyond their years. They might be amazing at art, or playing music, but this little girl by the name of Rhema Marvanne uses her angelic voice to take you above the clouds in the most beautiful way imaginable.
Often we'll hear amazing, but different, versions of the classic hymnal "Amazing Grace." While those other versions are beautiful to listen to, sometimes it's good to go back to your roots and listen to the song exactly as it was meant to be listened to.

Rhema Marvanne has been singing as long as she could use her voice. Even though she might be young, that doesn't mean she has an amazing grasp on how to properly sing an old hymnal tune!
Singing "Amazing Grace" isn't an easy task even for the most seasoned professional singers. So for such a little girl to take on such a heavy and meaningful song really shows how much confidence she has in her own abilities.
And when you watch her sing, you'll see how that confidence is not overblown. This girl is truly an "old soul" and knows how to control her voice in every single way.
The little girl's mother died back in 2008, and she's had a long journey coming to terms with that huge loss. But through her faith and hope, she sings for her mother and owes everything she is to the woman who gave birth to her.
Such a respectful and beautiful and talented child deserves to be praised. We can only hope she keeps humble as the years go on because she's certainly going to make it big!
