For me, summertime means red, white, and blue! I just love decorating for Memorial Day and Fourth Of July, and I think it’s important to decorate with the right pieces and fill my home with handmade items that remind me of all the things I love about America.
That's why I was so excited to find this Stars and Stripes wreath — made with straws! It's a fun way to celebrate in style on a small budget. The finished product really pops with color when it's finished. Patriotism never looked so chic.
This simple craft can stay up all summer through Labor Day — or, if you love red, white, and blue decorations as much as I do, you can keep it up longer to show your love for America year-round.

Here's what you need:
1. First, cut out the center of the white doily.
2. Glue the doily to the foam ring.
3. Cut a handful of blue straws in half.
4. Next, begin gluing the straws to the foam craft ring — alternating between the red and blue straws until you've made your entire way around the foam ring.
5. After everything is dry, super-glue the star decorations to the wreath.

This cute decoration definitely adds a festive touch to my home. It truly stands out and lights up the room. (For those wondering, I used double-coated mounting tape to securely mount the wreath on my wall.)
