Most of us remember Hanson for their 1997 smash hit “Mmmbop” and their flowing blond locks, but this three-bro trio can still really belt out the tunes. The gang, made up of Isaac, Taylor and Zac, showed off their vocal chops with a beautiful rendition of the national anthem at a Tulsa Drillers baseball game.
We've seen some pretty incredible renditions of the national anthem in the past, including a police sergeant who wowed the crowds with his performance or the special-needs student who belted it out with the support of her caring teacher. And this one is just as incredible as those.
Natives of Tulsa, OK, the three-time Grammy-nominated American pop band appeared to feel right at home and proud to be performing given their smiles and comfortable demeanor. They looked as if they were relishing in the moment.
Hanson’s voices flowed in harmony as they put a different spin on the ending of the national anthem. The band brought it home in a solid way, which impressed the crowds who eagerly looked on in the stands.
So, what has Hanson been up to lately?
The group has its own independent label and continues to tour and perform for a global fan base. In 2007, they launched a grassroots campaign to support poverty and HIV/AIDS relief in Africa, according to the band’s official website. They've also promised some new music in the near future.
