One of the many things I love about dogs is their caring, nurturing and nondiscriminatory nature. When this fawn's mom was killed, a senior dog adopted the baby. A 100-pound Mama dog happily adopted a baby chimp as her very own. Stories like these happen all the time, and thank God for the Internet for sharing them.
The video you're about to see is just as sweet. Here's an intimate moment between an unexpected family, but beautiful nonetheless. On Christine's farm, 6 baby pigs were born, yet the mother rejected them. But fear not! Tahoe, her Pitbull/Lab mix recently had puppies of her own, and was weaning her puppies. She was more than happy and prepared to rescue the piglets, and she is now raising her new adopted babies!! She's so gentle as the pigs nurse.
What a beautiful video. Why can't humans be this accepting?
