Brandy was adopted as a puppy from the rescue shelter. Her story should have ended there — happy, loved and cared for by a forever family. But her story was far from over…
Her family returned her to that very same shelter after she suffered a slipped disc, and became paralyzed from the neck down. She was scared, abandoned and helpless.
Then, a miracle happened.
A team of doctors, therapists and caregivers banned together and made it their mission to restore Brandy back to her old self. Using a myriad of therapies — hydrotherapy, acupuncture and a ton of patience and love, this team of heroes made it possible for Brandy to be happy and healthy again. No longer is she paralyzed!! She walks, she plays and she runs.
Of course, it didn't take long for a loving family to come along and take Brandy home. And this time, it stuck 🙂
