A quick-thinking teen is being hailed a hero for saving the life of an 11-month-old baby, who suddenly stopped breathing at a Missouri Walmart. The incident, caught on surveillance video, shows the infant's mother franticly trying to revive the baby but being unsuccessful. When no one else stepped forward to help, Abby Snodgrass, 17, pushed through the crowd and began performing CPR on the infant. (She had learned CPR a couple months back in her high school health class!)
After several terrifying moments, the baby eventually started breathing again. Thanks to this teen's bravery, the baby survived. Both the baby and the mother are doing fine — because of this high school student's quick thinking. What an incredible young woman.
