Jimmy Fallon Nervously Allows Harrison Ford To Pierce His Ear On Air

When talk show hosts are on the late night shift, they know they have to bring their A-game to inspire viewers to stay up past their bedtime. That pressure has led to some seriously hilarious high jinks from the folks sitting behind the desk. The stakes keep getting higher, like when Late Late Show host James Corden played a game of "tattoo roulette" with the lads from One Direction. Unlike Corden, though, who was lucky enough to evade the needle that night, Jimmy Fallon found himself volunteering himself for a bit of body modification.

His guest for the evening, Harrison Ford, has famously sported an earring for years now. Like many of us, Fallon considers Ford to be  one of the "coolest people in history." That's why he decided to not only follow in the Star Wars actor's footsteps, but allow Ford to do the job himself. You read that right: Fallon actually requested to be stabbed in the ear with a needle on live TV, and he didn't even go with a professional piercer.

That doesn't stop his nerves from definitely getting the better of him, though. You can see Fallon shaking throughout the whole process while Ford cracks jokes at his expense. For a minute there, I wasn't sure the funny man would actually go through with it, but the camera zooms in and you see the moment of truth.

Of course, they couldn't give him just an ordinary piece of jewelry to rock after enduring all of that. Take a look to see the more flamboyant choice Ford gives him for their matching look.

And be sure to SHARE their shenanigans with your friends!
