Denver the dog has a very guilty face. When she gets caught, she definitely can't pretend she didn't do something.
A lot of dogs have a hilarious way of showing their guilty feelings, but Denver does one thing that helps her owner know when she's been a little naughty! Besides the fact that her lips are red from eating something she shouldn't, her face just simply cannot tell a lie.
Hopefully she felt okay after eating those Christmas decorations!
Have you ever had a dog who just couldn't lie when he or she did something wrong? Our black lab used to walk into her crate whenever she did something bad and thought we had caught her. We wouldn't even have to tell her to go, she just would! This kind of behavior is hilarious, but it also really makes me certain that dogs are much smarter and more emotional than we give them credit for.
