Jenny Karpen had just started her new job at Walmart when she was faced with a big dilemma. An elderly man had come to her checkout line and couldn't afford all his groceries. He was trying to take stuff back, but Karpen wouldn't let him leave without all of his items.
Karpen took $40 out of her own pocket for the man to use toward his groceries. He was shocked by her generosity. She never asked for any recognition for her good deed, but the fellow customer in line made sure the store manager knew about Karpen's random act of kindness.
"There should be more people like that in the world," her manager, Jamie Cobb told News10. "We just need to clone Jenny. We need to have Jenny's one through ten."
Karpen said she's never done anything like this before but hopes to inspire others to follow in her footsteps.
