Ellen is, first and foremost, known for her unending generosity and kindness. She really does only want the very best for those who need and deserve it, and she'll stop at nothing to make sure that she spreads as much good as possible. You can tell that this is something she really, truly, loves to do — not because it is good for her brand or because she gets anything at all back in return, but because she was able to make another kind soul's life that much better.
However, Ellen is also known for something else. Sometimes, when a guest comes onto her show, she'll make a point to scare the pants off of them. Of course, this is all for laughs, and part of her wonderful sense of humor. It's always so funny to see these stars crumple to the floor just like you or I would if someone leapt out at us, screaming!
This is something that Ellen does for herself and for her viewers… and I'm so glad she does!
