I think we all dream of being pirates at one point when we are little. But most of us got our fantasy fixes from either movies or trips to the pool.
But thanks to the vision of a genius designer, one little boy is getting to fulfill his marauding aspirations in his own bedroom!
Far better from any pillow fort ever constructed, the boy has a seaworthy ship built right into his wall complete with a huge hull and a rope bridge. But that is just the beginning of the setup…
The ship comes with other amazing details, stretched all over the house, that would make any 6-year-old swoon — much like this magical backyard treehouse!
So avast, ye readers, and prepare for a perplexing tour of this intricate interior creation that would make any scallywag-in-training yearn for the high seas.

This lucky 6-year-old got to choose between a spaceship, race car, castle, and pirate ship theme for his bedroom.
And, judging by the final product, we would say that he made the call, choosing a bedecked pirate-theme bedroom.
The creative mind behind the construction was designer Steve Kuhl of Kuhl Design + Build.
The primary component of the pirate play place is the ship's hull that, quite literally, floats on the watery blue walls.
The hull is attacked to a pseudo-rickety rope bridge that leads to a ladder near the bedroom's door.
Once inside, the band of merry pirates can play around with the expertly crafted crow's nest and stirring wheel.
Surprisingly, the boat is just the beginning to this extensive marauding remodel.
Inside the house's coat room, there is a curious orange opening.
This happens to be the beginning of a crazy curly slide that shoots down to the house's first floor.
As if bridges and slides weren't entertaining enough, their is also an opening in the ship with a study rope ladder.
The ladder leads to a closet, creating a cute space where little pirates can swing in between reality and their secluded world.
If this amazing bedroom didn't make you yearn for your own spectacular ship to sail around in in search for gold, then perhaps you should accept your land-lover ways and retire your old hook and eye patch.
This bespoke bedroom appeals to kids, as well as the kid in all of us who was eager to be a pirate.
