One of the coolest things in the art world is the optical illusion. The fact that our brains can trick us into thinking we're seeing something that we simply are not is really incredible. It's even cooler that people can create these brain games using just a few art supplies or pure skill. For example, this man makes it look like these hoops are levitating and moving smoothly through the air, for example. This woman, on the other hand, used just an eyeliner pencil to make it look like her face was cracking like dry earth in the desert. Why he wanted to do that is irrelevant; it's the fact that she used her creativity to make it happen!
When this man below wanted to try a similar illusion with some paints, he took to his wrist. As he fills it in with a very black pencil, it already looks as if his hand is detached from the rest of his arm against the black background. But once he takes out the colored paints and adds a few lines?
