In spring of 2015, Ellen was struck by a ridiculous infomercial for "secret" hair extensions — invisible extensions that supposedly gives hair more volume and length in mere seconds. "You can trust them to stay put from busy days to crazy nights," the commercial touts.
Not only does Ellen doubt the quality of the new hair accessory, but she decides to try them out for herself and reveal the results in real time on her talk show. "I don't want you to waste your hard-earned money on anything that doesn't work," she says.
Ellen wants her audience to be totally surprised by her new look, so she instructs them to close their eyes and look away. That way, they'll really get the full effect of the extensions. By the time the audience opens their eyes, they get a real treat… and let's just say it's no "secret" that Ellen is wearing her new hair piece. The results are absolutely hilarious, and just wait until you see what she bought for her resident DJ, Twitch. This is one of my favorite Ellen moments ever!
