Newlyweds Put A Country Spin On Their ‘Footloose’-Themed First Dance

There are certain songs that always bring out the nostalgia in us. For instance, I can't hear Olivia Newton-John croon "Hopelessly Devoted to You" without thinking about her and John Travolta dancing around in Grease.

Another classic film with a plenty of memorable music moments was none other than the Kevin Bacon dance hit from 1984, Footloose.

While it catapulted Bacon into teen-icon status, I was always more interested in his goofier sidekick, Willard. Played by Chris Penn, the country boy struggled to follow in his city friend's footsteps. Watching him learn the moves from Bacon's Ren with such focus always puts a smile on my face.

The couple below has also definitely been taking a lesson or two when it comes to their toe-tapping routine for their first dance as man and wife.

Just like the newlyweds who perfectly embodied another popular '80s flick, Dirty Dancing, Trent and Annalisa Brookshier totally do the film justice with their high-spirited performance.

Using Blake Shelton's cover of the original theme song, the bride is clad in cowgirl boots as she and her new husband strut their stuff and even fly through the air a few times!

Honestly, it makes me wish these two had been cast in the reboot a few years ago instead! They clearly have the passion for it, not to mention tons of talent. It makes me wonder if they happened to meet each other on the dance floor, too.
