A campground has always been one of my favorite places to escape to. Even though it may seem secluded, surrounded by fields and trees, only minutes down the highway are plenty of restaurants and, in the case of my favorite campground, an outlet mall.
Growing up, my family would spend our camping time in a park model RV, which came to be a kind of second home. Civilization was right down the street, but I could also enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

Located right in the heart of Fitzroy is this incredible little lodging space called a yurt.
A yurt is a dwelling traditionally used by Mongolian nomads.
It's certainly not the type of thing you'd usually stumble across in a small suburb!
Luckily for visitors from all over the world, or just those looking to get away from their own homes for a little while, this tiny yurt sits perched in a beautiful, tranquil location.
The intricately designed, naturally lit yurt offers its visitors a beautiful place to relax for the day and a safe place to sleep at night.
Although the yurt only offers family room and bedroom-type accommodations, guests are welcome to venture into the main house on the property to use the facilities or cook their own meals.
The private yurt for two is meant to transport your mind to another place.
