Surprise proposals can be tricky to pull off. Especially when there are a lot of factors in pulling off a seamless engagement without anything going wrong.
This boyfriend decided to take the surprise element to a whole other level with his desired way of proposing. Not only was it a tad crazy, but it was also pretty dangerous.
In this short clip, he decides to make a sudden announcement in front of his friends and significant other. Being that they’re all having fun while on a rooftop, I’m sure he figured that this would be the best time to propose to the love of his life.
However, instead of getting to one knee and asking her the old-fashioned way, he decides to fall of the roof.
As he starts to make his speech, while staring directly at his girlfriend, he then motions for his friend to throw him the ring.
As he reaches up to catch it, he takes a pretty big fall backward off the rooftop. His girlfriend runs to the edge in a panic — and understandably so.
But when she looks down? There’s her beloved, safe and sound, and surrounded in the ultimate question, “Will you marry me?” I don't even know how I would react in her situation; what a rush of conflicting emotions!
