One of the best things about welcoming a new child into the world is all the excitement leading up to the big birthday.
There's obviously a lot of planning involved in getting ready for their precious arrival. Stocking up on onesies, diapers, and bottles are all essentials. Plus, you get to have the fun of sharing your happy news with all of your family and friends!
Of course, none of that is possible if you happen to be unaware that you're expecting until the little bundle decides to make their first appearance.
It may seem farfetched, but some women can go their entire pregnancy without any symptoms signaling the new life waiting inside their tummies. That, or the symptoms are so subtle that they are simply overlooked.
When Dana, the cashier shown in the clip below, felt searing pain in her abdomen, she assumed it was her appendix bursting. When paramedics arrived and saw her daughter already crowning, the woman was completely baffled.
Not only were she and her husband not planning on having more children, but he had also gone through the vasectomy procedure to make sure of it. Though the odds are very slim, about one in 1,000 after one year and two to 10 in 1,000 after five years, it is still possible for a woman to conceive.
