When I was a little girl, there was one thing that I liked to collect. I loved stuffed animals!
Before I could even think about it, my collection had started with a Bugs Bunny I got the day I was born. For years, I got stuffed buddies for birthdays and holidays. I think most children love stuffed animals because they're a great source of comfort.
Even if children don't know why they love them, they can't help but cuddle close with a stuffed friend! One 6-year-old girl is doing her best to help other children feel better with stuffed animals.
Little Brylee saw a story about children in need on the news and felt inspired to help. She devised her own plan to raise money by selling lemonade at her stand.
With the help of the local police and fire department, Brylee was able to raise enough money to buy 72 different teddy bears and stuffed animals! Because of her kindness, many children in her community will be able to find happiness.
