Carrie Underwood Calmly Shuts Down Troll Who Made A Rude Comment About Her 4-Year-Old Son Isaiah

Carrie Underwood is not here for the trolls, especially not when it comes to her kids.

Carrie and her husband Mike Fisher have two children together: Isaiah, 4 years, and Jacob, 2 months. Like many 4-year-olds, Isaiah has a pretty hilarious and surprisingly extensive vocabulary.

Carrie posted an anecdote about him on Twitter:

"My 4-year-old just told me that something is 'unreasonable.' ‍♀️ Where does he get this stuff?" she wrote.

Anyone who's ever been around a 4-year-old instantly knew what she meant and found the story entertaining and cute. Then one guy had to chime in with a negative comment, 'cause this is the internet.

"I'd have been slapped if I was a four year old speaking to my parents like that," he wrote.

Wait 'til this guy hears what Carrie's son likes to call her!

Carrie wrote back to clarify that her son hadn't been giving her an "attitude." He's just a smart kid who knows some really big words, thankyouverymuch!

Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, recently welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Jacob. This was a special moment for their growing family — the couple experienced three miscarriages before Jacob was born.

"[Jacob's] mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle!" Carrie wrote on Instagram at the time. "Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed."

Carrie's oldest son, Isaiah, is ecstatic to be a big brother. He just celebrated his fourth birthday in February.

For which his mom sang him a helium-voice rendition of "Happy Birthday."

Carrie and Mike may not post pictures their kids on social media often, but when they do, it's pure gold!

Carrie recently posted a brief story on Twitter about what life with a 4-year-old is like. Apparently, Isaiah's vocabulary is rapidly growing! He surprised Carrie by using the word "unreasonable."

"Where does he get this stuff?" she wondered.

Other fans shared stories of kids saying surprisingly advanced words for their age.

"Got to love kids and their vocabulary! As a little kid I would drop actually into every conversation," one fan wrote.

Carrie replied that, yep, Isaiah had that phase, too.

Other kid classics: "whatever," "basically," and "impossible."

One social media user, though, had a different take on Carrie's story. He wrote that he "would have been slapped" if he used the word "unreasonable" around his parents at that age.

Carrie replied calmly, explaining that Isaiah hadn't been giving her attitude. He just used the word during a conversation.

But this guy had a response to that, too.

"My parents would have just slapped me for using a polysyllabic word," he said.

Is that… a joke?

Hilariously, the user now has "Carrie Underwood's 'internet bully'" in his Twitter bio. Sometimes you just gotta own it!

Ooookay, Jack!

Carrie has dealt with plenty of worse criticism from fans before. After an accident resulted in a scar on her lip, people began accusing her of vanity, plastic surgery, and other "sins."

Her parenting style, too, has come under attack. She was once shamed for wearing makeup to Isaiah's soccer game.

Basically, people on the internet have too much time on their hands.

Good on Carrie for staying so calm in the face of trolls!
