Live On Air, Olympic Star Interrupts A News Reporter When He Hears The U.S. Anthem

The Olympic Games are meant to bring countries together in the hope that a newfound camaraderie and friendship will form in spite of our national boundaries and differences in culture.

To be considered a true Olympian, you have to do more than just win medals, you have to have respect for your worthy opponents and a love of the sport you're in to truly win the hearts and minds of the world.

While superstar track runner Usain Bolt is well known for his lightning-fast feet, not a lot of people are aware that he is one of the most respectable people in the competition as well, and a perfect example of that was caught on film during a live broadcast with a television station.

Back during the 2012 London Games, Bolt had just won yet another heat and gloriously defended his title as the fastest man on Earth. During his interview he was answering all the normal questions when suddenly a song began to play in the background during the awards ceremony of a different competition.

Even though he was coming off the natural high of winning the gold, when he realized what song it was he politely interrupted the reporter and turned away from the camera to place his hand on his heart. While this man is from Jamaica, he happily gave the United States respect and gravity as the national anthem played proudly.

It turns out that Bolt does this no matter what country's anthem is playing. He respects the competition as a whole, and is a true example of what it means to be an Olympian.

Please SHARE this touching video if you think this man is truly an amazing example of what it means to be a classy winner!
