A bouquet of flowers doesn’t need much help in being presentable. Flowers are effortlessly beautiful in all of their variety.
However, when we try to put our freshly picked or newly bought flowers on display for people to see, our bouquet can turn from beautiful to messy, really quick.
With this quick and simple DIY life hack, Dave Hax shows us a flower-arranging trick that will change the way you look at vases forever.
Sure, this might seem like more work than it’s worth at first. But with scotch tape being the only supply you need to make this trick doable, I think this flower-arranging trick is definitely worth a try.
First, make sure your vase’s rim is clean and smooth. After you clean the rim, layer long strips of tape atop the rim of your vase. Once the top of your vase is covered with tape, place another level of long tape strips atop the first layer, creating a crisscross effect, or a grid rather.
This grid will serve as a pliable hold for each flower to stay in position rather than falling outward. This easy trick provides a fuller look to your flower arrangement, all while being seemingly invisible.
The idea of this unique DIY is to bring your flowers together in a very natural way.
