A mother's story is going viral after she shared a chilling account of being followed at Osgood Hornbacher's. What's most disturbing? Many mothers claim the same thing has happened to them.
Amy McCloud and her daughter were grocery shopping, and McCloud noticed a bizarre couple watching them.
"I noticed a couple that seemed rather close to me. Wherever I went, they followed in the same pattern," McCloud says. McCloud begin to wander through the maze of aisles to be sure that they were following. Everywhere she went, there the couple was.
"My mommy instincts were alerted, and so I kept an eye on this couple” she says. “And I just kept going through the store. And when I went to the checkout, they were right there."
Instead of heading home, the mother and daughter sat at the coffee shop inside of the door. They waited there until the man and woman left.
"It could have been a common shopping pattern, or it could have been something a little more sinister,” says McCloud.
When McCloud shared her story on Facebook, thousands of moms shared similar experiences, and those in the area appreciated the warning.
"I think some people think that a mom of multiples might be an easy target. But I think that people should not underestimate a mother because they will kill for their babies," said local mom Chelsey Richards.
Moms have got to stick together in a world with some seriously sick people.
