Mom Turns Lumpectomy Scars Into A Beautiful And Eye-Catching Tattoo

There are plenty of powerful and beautiful ways that women have reclaimed their bodies after having breast cancer surgery.

Some decide on getting makeovers or reconstructive surgery done so that their bodies more closely resemble what they looked like before their treatment.

Others opt to bare their scars, wearing them as symbols of pride and victory against the illness that tried to defeat them.

A few women even decide to treat their breasts like post-surgery canvases and cover them in beautiful, colorful tattoos!

This is what mom Alison Habbal decided to do after having a lumpectomy to remove cancer in her right breast.

Rather than having her nipple reconstructed, she decided to make a more colorful commemoration of her surgery.

It was also not an easy process, taking almost 13 painful hours to complete!
