Here's a video that must be seen by as many people as possible, because it's just that good. Please note, the dog is critically wounded when we first see him, and his head wound may be disturbing for some — but trust, me the pay-off is worth it. 9-year-old Sohan Lal, a village boy in India, helped Animal Aid rescue a critically injured street dog. In this video, you'll see Buddy's incredible recovery thanks to Sohan, and you will meet the young boy as he's honored by his entire school. His teachers and fellow students learned of his heroic deed and were so impressed that they flooded him with Facebook messages before honoring him at a school assembly dedicated just to Sohan! He was so proud and happy to receive such encouragement from his peers.
Three months into recovery, and Buddy's transformation is like night and day. Instead of living on the streets, he's now surrounded by people and canines who love him. He goes on walks, and plays every day! May all children in the world be like Sohan, who showed compassion towards a suffering animal.
