Friendly, patient, and dependable, Great Danes are amazing family dogs. These gentle giants may be huge (usually 100 to 200 pounds!), but the breed is gentle with children, affectionate, and good-natured.
Like many other dogs, Great Danes are highly food-motivated, but unlike most other dogs, these huge creatures stand at table height! They are very interested in, and have a great vantage point for, all of the human food that hits the table!
This Great Dane, in particular, is very focused on his human’s food. He watches intently as every single food item is brought out, and his head could not get any closer to the dish unless he was eating it! This Great Dane is so patient, in fact, that I’m really cheering for him when he finally gets a little whipped cream at the end! It's very well-deserved for being such a good boy!
