Being a mother, I can imagine you hear of aches and pains constantly. Kids can sometimes complain about feelings they can't explain.
How do you really ever know when the complaints from your kids are most serious? I'm going to go with taking every ache and pain seriously after hearing this story.
This mom's 6-year-old son started complaining of leg pain, but then that leg pain turned into limping.
When they took Payton to the hospital to find out what was going on. His tests showed osteosarcoma, bone cancer.
His battle from there was life-changing. He had part of his leg amputated, and went through chemotherapy too.
But his mom tells us how his personality persevered through it all, and he never seemed to get down on himself (or the world) for all he was going through.
Unfortunately, Payton has passed away since the taping of this video. But I think he deserves to be remembered, and his story is one to be heard.
We can all learn from the bright, positive souls like Payton. And we can honor his memory by watching and sharing his video.
I can't imagine the love and loss that their family has gone through, but I know we all hope that someone can cure these diagnoses soon.
Please SHARE Payton's journey and contagious happiness with all of your friends and family today!
