When I was a little girl, one of my favorite things to do was arts and crafts, particularly those little sheets of paper you'd color in, bake in the oven to shrink them down into a hard piece of plastic, and wear them as jewelry.

Picture This Clothing is a new service that allows girls to design their very own dresses. All you have to do is to send in a picture of their artwork on a template you print form their website, and look out for your order in the mail.
I know that I would have loved this when I was little. I would have been so proud to walk around in one of my very own creations, which would without a doubt be covered in pink and purple. Don't you think that your daughter or granddaughter would like to be able to wear one of her very own pieces of art?
Picture This Clothing has only been a live website for about two weeks now, but they're already overloaded with orders! That's probably because it's such an unbelievably simple process for parents and daughters to do together, and each dress is only $49.00 plus shipping. That's a small price for a completely original, designer dress!
You can either color, draw, or paint directly onto the template, or you can use an existing piece of artwork for your dress.
To use an existing piece, all you have to do is cut out the dress on the template that you print from the Picture This website.
Position the window of the dress over the artwork as you'd like it to appear on the final product.
Then you snap a well-lit picture of the template, and send it back to the company! Your order will be ready to ship back to you and your little girl in about six to eight weeks. If you're looking to order for the holidays, be sure to get an order in by early November.
Remember to encourage your little one to get really creative with the designs.
The back of the dress is a duplicate image of the front, and the dresses come in sizes 2-18 with the option to add an 11 or 18-inch doll dress. There are hopes to add in other options like T-shirts and more sizing options soon, so stay tuned!
