Lovers of the wilderness will certainly enjoy this simple DIY project in the video below.
Leon Pantenburg from Survival Common Sense shows us how to build what he calls a brick rocket stove. Not only are the required materials inexpensive, it's also pretty simple to put together.
He uses 16 bricks, which he bought for 38 cents apiece at a local Home Depot, and three 75-cent patio blocks for the base. The wilderness enthusiast explains how to properly place the bricks and it's quite easy to follow along. Of course you'll also need a fire starter and some wood to get it going.
While it's a useful accessory to add to your patio or put together on a camping trip, this special stove could also be beneficial in several scary scenarios.
"If you were in a situation where a tornado had gone through, picking up 16 bricks and arranging this stove would allow you to use the biomass and the debris most effectively to cook and boil water," he says.
And aside from the obvious, such as roasting marshmallows, this stove is able to make actual meals like pasta.
What the video below and let us know if you're going to try this.
