Newborn Black Cap Capuchin Loves Her First Bath

When it comes to bath time, most animals want to run as far away as they can.

However, baby Nala is nothing like most animals. She's not a pet, but a rescued newborn black cap capuchin, a type of monkey who is very playful, as you can see in this sweet video. Baby Nala now lives with other rescue animals at a sanctuary where she gets the kind of care and attention she deserves.

A lot of people think it's great to keep capuchins as pets because they're tiny, intelligent and adorable, but most people don't know how to properly raise these animals without experience. When Nala was just a newborn, her caretaker Jennifer T. Hall was able to capture a precious moment on camera when Nala got her first bath.

I didn't think I'd ever see a video of a baby's first bath sweeter than this special one of a new father and his baby girl, but just watching Nala enjoy her gentle rinse made me so happy.  She's so tiny that she can fit in the palm of Jennifer's hand, as she clings on to her stuffed animal so tightly.

It doesn't get much cuter than this, does it? Please SHARE if baby Nala made you smile today!
