While we don't exactly condone making your little ones cry here at LittleThings, what happens in this next video is too adorable not to laugh about.
Like a lot of young parents, Bradley and Jennifer Bailey just can't help having some fun with their little ones. For all of her young life, their 19-month-old daughter, Brenna, has known her dad to have a full, bushy beard and mustache. So when the couple's older son, a 4-year-old, suggested that it was time for Bradley to shave it off and try a fresh start, the father understandably couldn't resist the opportunity that presented itself.
Brenna's favorite game to play with her dear old Dad is peekaboo, so the Bailey's instantly realized they needed to try to pull a fast one on their little girl and record her reaction. In the following video, we see little Brenna happily playing peek-a-boo with Daddy, until he tells her to wait a few minutes. When Dad returns with a towel over his face, we know what's coming, but his little daughter was completely clueless. The tiny girl just stared at her father in shock and disbelief, just like when this little baby met his mom's twin sister for the first time.
Unfortunately, their toddler was a little more taken aback by the big reveal than they had ever expected. Bradley Bailey told the Washington Post, "We thought it would be more of a shock, not so extreme. We didn’t think it was gonna scare her quite as bad as it did.”
Luckily, after a little time and a few more games of peek-a-boo and patty cake, Brenna was back to normal and recognized her daddy.
