She may just be a little baby, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a big heart and a lot of love to give to the world!
The video begins with naturalist Lev looking over the destruction of a recently devastated patch of land in the plains of Africa. It seems as if a brush fire had quickly spread throughout this parcel of land, and the effects were quite horrible due to the combination of dry grass and angry winds.
Lev is searching through some brush when he suddenly hears a small squeak coming from a few yards away. As he climbs through the forest to investigate the sound he finally comes across a tiny bundle of love which turns out to be a baby Vervet monkey who, were it not for Lev, would surely have perished in the flames!
Levison Wood is a dauntless explorer and former British Army paratrooper. Though he's certainly a tough character, it's wonderful to watch his heart just melt for this little baby monkey.
Though the monkey was a bit dehydrated, she managed to pull through and is being sent off to a sanctuary where she can get the tender loving care she so badly deserves.
