Heartwarming Moment: 97-Year-Old Meets Great-Great-Great-Granddaughter

Lois Hubbard has seen a lot in her lifetime, but this week, the 97-year-old got the surprise of a lifetime when she got to meet her great-great-great-granddaughter. The sweet family reunion was captured on camera as six generations gathered together to introduce four-week-old baby Bonnie to the family.

Photographer Arian Schussler took the precious photo as Daniel Hinch handed his newborn baby to her great-great-great-grandmother. When she finally holds the baby, she is in complete awe.

"This gives me chills," B.J. Brockett of Odgen, Iowa, the wife of Hubbard's grandson, Lynn Brockett, told Iowa's Globe Gazette.

Lois was in assisted living for 10 years before moving to Good Shepherd, an independent senior housing center in northern Iowa. The family knew they had to bring everyone together — especially due to Lois being 97.

Lois' reaction to meeting the newborn is so special. They say a picture is worth a thousands words, and it's so beautiful to see this quintessential moment in time will create lasting memories for generations to come.

According to Janet McBride, her daughter, meeting great-great-great-granddaughter was special for her because "she loves babies."

Lois' daughter-in-law Carolyn Hubbard added: "She hasn't had a baby on her lap in years."
