If you grew up with a brother or a sister, you are probably familiar with the concept of sibling rivalry. As part of a multi-kid family, you grow up in a constant state of mild competition, usually for the attention of your parents.
After all, it’s tough to share the spotlight, just ask this soon-to-be sib! If you’re the oldest, you feel threatened by the up-and-comers; if you’re the youngest, you always have to fight for respect; and if you’re the middle, you get a bit of both.
But these two adorable sisters seem to have mastered the art of the sibling alliance. No one is fighting, and they are sharing like champs, at least for the most part, which is pretty remarkable. Sharing is, after all, the ultimate litmus test of how much tolerance one kid has for his or her sibling in any given moment.
These little girls are Mazzy, 6, and Harlow, 2. They are the adorable and hilarious progeny of vlogger Mommy Shorts, who writes and films many of her adventures in parenting. Here, she captures a routine summer-time activity for kids everywhere: eating a watermelon all the way down to the rind.
Alas, as these little boys practicing their jumping skills learned, nothing lasts forever. Despite their top notch sharing, their collaboration must come to an end. No, there’s no grabbing, or screaming, or pulling of hair. They’re just done with the watermelon!
