Watch These Kids Surprise Shoppers With A Flash Mob From ‘Annie’

If there's one viral video trend I never, ever want to end, it's the flash mob.

From weddings, to mall food courts, to busy train stations, nowhere is safe to a surprise flash mob. One of my all-time favorites is this video of people in New York City pretending to work at the Best Buy in Union Square, but after I saw this next video, I think it has to move to #2!

There's no denying that some flash mobs are way better than others, but the little kids in the following video are so good, it completely took me by surprise. To promote their adaptation of the new Annie musical-turned-movie, dancers of The Pointe Studio of Dance decided to put on a surprise performance near the movie theaters at a shopping mall in Greensboro, North Carolina.

In the video, the little kids start lining up in an empty area, before the song "Hard Knock Life" comes on. They suddenly break into one of the best dance routines I've ever seen by little kids and completely blow away the shoppers at the mall.

I don't know about you, but I'd rather see a great stage production over a movie any day. I don't know how anyone would head into the theater after seeing this performance!
