If you are lucky, you will have at least one moment in life that's so wonderful that you have to take a step back, take a deep breath, maybe blink a few times and give yourself a pinch just to make sure you aren't dreaming.
Some people say they experience this kind of feeling when they are getting married, giving birth to or seeing their first child born, seeing a lifelong dream come true, or experiencing some other major moment of euphoria that they can't believe is real.
But sometimes, even the pinch isn't enough to make you believe that what you're seeing in front of you is real.
This video, taken by Jessica Evans, (the fiancé of the boy's father), captures the moment that Jessica Evans takes her 2-year-old son Bentley to find the surprise that had been waiting for him. While she knew she would get a big reaction, she probably wasn't expecting something as adorable and heartwarming as this!
Her sweet little boy opens his eyes to see what his surprise is and can't believe it when he walks into his bedroom to see his dad, Neil Grant, for the first time in six months since he left for training to become a firefighter in the Army National Guard. He is so in shock that even after the big hugs and kisses, he has to lean back and check out his dad's face just to make sure it is really him!
I don't know about you, but I definitely need a tissue or two after watching this beautiful reunion!
