Rachael, an Alabama mother of two, was recently outside mowing her front yard. Rachael was taking care of their children, but she also wanted to help her husband with their weekly chores. So, she securely strapped her four-month-old baby to her chest with a Boba Baby Wrap and was halfway through mowing the lawn when a Madison County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped in front of the house.
The young mom assumed she was about to be reprimanded by the Deputy for wearing her baby while mowing. Instead, she got a huge surprise. Without hesitation, the Deputy took over the lawnmower and finished the yard work for her.
Blown away by the Deputy's kindness, Rachael snapped a couple photos of the hero in action and posted them to Facebook. She and her husband had no idea their story would soon go viral. The Deputy, who wishes to remain anonymous, is being hailed a hometown hero for his selfless act of kindness.

Rachael and Ryan live in Alabama with their two young kids. Rachael is a stay-at-home mom. Recently, on a nice, sunny day, Rachael decided to help her husband with their house chores by mowing the front lawn.
She securely wrapped up her four-month-old daughter in a Boba Baby Wrap and headed outside to do some yard work.
The family had just gotten back from vacation and Ryan quickly jumped back into a work project. "He works hard so I can be a stay at home mom, and I actually enjoy mowing," Rachael told Yellowhammer News. "I’m not one to just sit around."
About halfway through mowing, a Sheriff's Deputy pulled up in front of Rachael's house. She thought she was about to get in trouble for having her baby strapped to her body, but instead the Deputy insisted on mowing the lawn for this busy mom.
Rachael couldn't believe the Deputy's selfless act, which allowed her to hold her baby and watch in awe. The humble Deputy wishes to remain anonymous.
“I can’t express enough of my gratitude for this man-in-blue,” said Rachael’s husband, Ryan. “It’s small in nature, but was a huge help to my wife today.”
Rachael posted the now viral photos to Facebook because she wants people to see that police are good. "We’re grateful to all the men and women who put their lives on the line for our country!”
