Yasmina Rossi is a 59-year-old mother of two. She has two grandchildren and a steady job. None of that sounds too peculiar, right? Well, what Yasmina does for a living has caused quite a stir: She's a very successful international model.
However, she's not the only older woman embracing her distinguished looks, Nina Snelling is a botox-free 81-year-old who looks about 40 years younger.
While Rossi's life didn't have a glamorous beginning, she was raised by her grandparents in rural France without running water or electricity, and believes it brought her closer to the simplicity of mother nature. She credits this connection with her stunning looks.
“There is no big secret,” she told the Sunday Times’ Style magazine. “All I have ever done is eat organic food – long before it became trendy. I take oil and use it on my skin: I put rapeseed oil on my hair. I scrub my skin once a week with olive oil and fine sugar. I eat an avocado a day and good organic meat and fish.”
The model got her big break at the age of 45, while most models have to end their careers in their late twenties.

Yasmina Rossi is a 59-year-old grandmother of two but she is causing a stir around the world for one surprising reason.
Rossi (yes, that's her pictured above) is a successful high fashion model. The French-born model, who now lives in Malibu, got a late start in her career.
While many models end their career in their late twenties, Rossi began hers at 30 as a fit model for high fashion brands like Yves Saint Laurent. However, it wasn't until she 45 that Rossi got her big break.
"I started working as a fittings model in my late twenties, when most models are starting to retire, for houses such as YSL, Hermès and Jil Sander. Then, at 45, I went to New York, where there was a market for older models that did not exist in Europe. I did TV commercials for AT&T, Mastercard and Macy’s," she told the Sunday Times.
"Mature women are discouraged from feeling young at heart and it is a shame because it can suppress you if you have a young energy, which is connected to your youthfulness. In my opinion this is what keeps us alive," she told Complexd magazine.
"Being in touch with your youth does not mean dressing like you’re 15 years old. It is about rekindling that spirit, curiosity and adventurous nature you had when you were much younger."
Rossi isn't afraid to take racier photos as you can see from the topless poses she posted on her Instagram.
"I am not embarrassed by my naked body and I don’t feel ashamed of it because I grew up around women who felt comfortable being naked even at ages 70-80."
Although she has always maintained a slim physique, she believes you only get better with age.
"I like the way I look now more than how I looked 20 years ago. My body is nicer and I feel happier than when I was 20," she says.
"I used to hate my body when I was younger because I developed very early and wasn’t sure how to deal with my womanly figure."
Rossi credits her distinguished, yet youthful looks to eating organic foods and choosing holistic remedies rather than taking medicine.
However, this is perhaps her best advice: "Go with nature instead of fighting it — this is the rule for everything."
"Just like anything else aging does not have to about fitting a mould because we were all born unique. This is why I keep my hair grey and natural… I got my first grey hair at the age of 12 and I have embraced it through all my years because it is what makes me different."
