One of the scariest things you can do as a pet owner is let your pet interact with new or strange animals.
You never know just how two animals are going to get on, or how they will feel about one another when they meet. And the last thing that anybody wants is for two pets to get mean or angry with each other.
It can be hard enough to introduce your dog to another dog, or your cat to another cat — but when you decide to introduce two totally different species to one another, it can be incredibly difficult to predict their reactions.
When they happen to really get along, however (like one adorable Chihuahua and the baby goats she plays with), it can be the cutest thing ever!
The two pets we see in this video aren't quite to that level just yet, but we think their next meeting will go a little smoother.
This older pup runs from the new baby emu, but we think he is just a little overwhelmed with all the energy this big baby bird has!
And if for some reason they don't become the best of friends… I'll come play with the emu any day!
